Jazmine, who played loveable Esther Bloom in the Channel Four soap, looks unrecognisable in a flame red wig and matching lippie for the captivating role.

In the tale of romance, drama, suspense, comedy and murder, Edward Green has decided to move on to his personal assistant after 25 years of marriage to Sally.

And Sally's sister Ruby convinces her to hire a private detective to spy on her husband Edward. However, a blackmailing strategy takes a sinister turn.

She hit the gym and ditched the canteen pie and chips on set for healthier meals.

Jazmine turned to powerlifting, which resulted in her losing a stone, and she competed in the the All England Powerlifting Championships.

During the pandemic the actress from Bury, who played loveable Esther Bloom, further embraced her love of fitness by qualifying as a personal trainer and last month she ran the Manchester Marathon.

This Christmas she'll be swapping the workout gear for sparkly dresses as she takes on the role of The Magical Mermaid in the panto Treasure Island at the Middleton Arena.

She previously told us: "I'm a magical mermaid which is the most feminine, dainty character and I'm such a tomboy.

And on getting dressed up for her panto role she said: "That's what I'm excited about - all the glitter and all the sequins."

Jazmine starred in the 2006 BBC miniseries Johnny and the Bomb, the ITV miniseries The Second Coming, the Manchester comedy-drama Shameless and Jimmy McGovern's drama The Street before Hollyoaks.
