Former Hollyoaks star shows off her toned body in a black bikini as she stands in icy chamber

Former Hollyoaks actress Jazmine Franks stepped into an icy chamber as she underwent cryotherapy treatment, and she managed the chill in a black bikini.

Jazmine, who played Esther Bloom in the Channel Four soap, showed off her toned body while having the treatment that drops down to -130°.

The soap star from Bury, looked incredible in her lacy two-piece, and she also paid homage to reality TV legend and meme queen Gemma Collins in a 'GC' T-shirt as she arrived for the treatment.

The chamber used by Jazmine is aimed at speeding up the metabolism.

It allows users to burn an extra 800 calories in the hours after going inside.

Former boxing champion Amir Khan, from Bolton, recently visited the centre and said cryotherapy has been a huge part of his career for recovery before and after his fights.

Jazmine, 28, from Bury, played Esther in Hollyoaks from 2011 to 2018.

After leaving the show the fitness fanatic devoted her time to the strength sport powerlifting, consisting of squats, bench presses and deadlifts, and competed in the the All England Powerlifting Championships.

Jazmine got into weights quite quickly after initially feeling out of her comfort zone and found herself feeling stronger, more confident and empowered.

"When I was at school I used to always be the kid with a massive lunch, always eating chocolate and sweets," she explained previously.

"Then I started working at Hollyoaks and everyone around me was eating salads, being healthy, and going to the gym, so I kind of thought 'oh maybe I should start doing this too.'

"That was when I got myself a personal trainer, and I’ve never looked back."

The star took on a full-time role as a volunteer coordinator for the homeless charity Barnabus Manchester.

From the start of lockdown she worked on the coronavirus frontline providing meals for the homeless.

From the kitchen of the Church of the Apostles and St Cuthbert's in Miles Platting, she was part of a 10-strong team who worked hard to supply more than 200 meals a day to those put into temporary accommodation around the city.

Jazmine recently shared on Instagram that she is taking a step back from Barnabus now as she announced her return to acting.

She recently shared a photo of herself and her friend Jorgie Porter, who has just returned to Hollyoaks village as Theresa McQueen at a Halloween drive-in party at EventCity.
