Former Hearts star Uche Ikpeazu reveals disgusting racist abuse directed at him

Former Hearts striker Uche Ikpeazu has been subjected to sickening racial abuse after showing support for QPR pair Illias Chair and Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The ex-Tynecastle frontman, who joined Wycombe in the summer, shared screenshots of the disgusting replies he got after congratulating Chair and Osay-Samuel for their celebration against Millwall.

The pair were booed at The Den after they took a knee in celebration of Chair's opener in the 1-1 draw.

But Ikpeazu was then hit with sickening replies and showed everyone what had been sent to him in some posts on social media.

He posted the screenshots with the caption: "This is why we kneel."

One of the sickening replies called him a n*****, while another said: “U represent nighttime.”

It comes as players continue to take the knee in support of racial equality across the UK.

The 25-year-old spent two years at Hearts and scored five goals in 40 league games before heading back down south.

He’s played just four times so far for the newly-promoted Championship outfit and is yet to score for the club.
