Airdrie have announced that Dale Carrick is leaving the club this summer after a three-year spell.
The 27 year-old has been a star performer for the Diamonds since joining from Livingston in January 2018.
The former Hearts academy graduate scored an impressive 31 goals in 112 appearances and he finished as Airdrie's top goalscorer last season.
Carrick is a former Scotland Under-21 international and he refused to rule out a return to the Diamonds in the future.
He told Airdrie's website : “I would like to thank all my team-mates, the fans, directors, owners and staff behind the scenes. I’d also like to make a special mention to Stevie Findlay, who brought me to this great club.
“The backing I got from day one was something special that I will always carry with me.
"I always left everything on the pitch, regardless of playing in different positions, coming off the bench or having a bad day - and I had a few of them!
“It’s pleasing to leave the club in a better position from when I first arrived, and making over 100 appearances was special for me on a personal note.
“I wish the club all the success and good luck in the future. Football is a strange but wonderful world where you never know what can happen, so maybe I’ll be back in some capacity in the future - so it’s a bye… for now!”
