Airdrieonians have announced the signing of former Hearts and Dunfermline striker Nikolay Todorov.
The 26-year-old Bulgarian left the Pars at the end of last season and becomes Airdrie player-boss Rhys McCabe's first summer signing, as the club prepare for next season in the Scottish Championship.
An Airdrie statement read: "We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Nikolay Todorov, who joins subject to SFA clearance after leaving Dunfermline Athletic.
"The 26-year-old Bulgarian has spent much of his career in Scotland, with spells at Hearts, Falkirk and Inverness before two seasons at East End Park.
"A former U21 international, Todorov has also spent time with Nottingham Forest in England and Rieti in Italy.
"Although capable of performing in defence, fans will be most familiar with 6ft 3in Todorov as a centre-forward. In this role, he found the net in three of the four meetings between Airdrie and Dunfermline last season, and the Excelsior faithful will now be hoping he can perform similar heroics in the Diamond."
