Former Grenadier Guard, 51, who died in A610 lorry crash named by police

A 51-year-old man who died following a crash in Eastwood has been named by police.

Ex-Grenadier Guard David Lewan, pictured, of Giltbrook, died after police were called to reports of a crash involving a man and a lorry on the A610 last Wednesday (September 18).

He was treated at the scene for serious injuries but died a short while later.

Anyone with information which may help the investigation, including anyone with dash cam footage, is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 68 of September 18.
