Former Gogglebox star announces he will be in popular TV show

A former Gogglebox favourite has announced that he will soon be back on our TV screens.

Tom Malone Jr joined the Channel 4 show with his family in 2014, and the Malone's have been regulars ever since.

But, in February 2021, Tom announced that he would be leaving the show to explore other opportunities.

The 27-year-old freelance model and street dance choreographer spent a few months promoting popular UK brands, such as Hooch and Personalised Gifts.

During his TV hiatus, the star has also been busy manning a Tik Tok account that he runs alongside his girlfriend, Bryony Briscoe.

But it will not be long before Tom makes a return to our TV screens, as he and Bryony have announced that they will both be starring in the new series of Celebrity Coach Trip.

Famous faces hop aboard a bus with their celebrity tour guide, Brendan Sheerin, for the series and previous stars of the show include Geordie Shore's Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale; and Birds of a Feather actresses Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph.

This year's installment aired on Monday, January 3 at 8pm on E4 and Tom and Bryony are expected to join the show later on in the series.

Posting on Instagram on Monday, Tom Jr said: "So excited/nervous to announce that we’ll be on this years Celebrity Coach Trip!

"It was a wild trip with some crazy characters but we loved every minute!

"Tune in to @e4grams tonight at 8pm to see the first episode and we’ll meet you on the coach somewhere along the way".

This series begins in Braga, Portugal, and the celebs will travel across Europe via coach.

At the end of each day, they must vote for which other couple they no longer wish to travel with.

The couple with the most votes leaves the bus to make way for a new famous pair to join the tour.
