Former Glasgow bricklayer and Johnny Depp bodyguard tells court he’d remember seeing star’s genitals

A former Glasgow bricklayer turned bodyguard has told the court in the Johnny Depp v Amber Heard defamation trial that he’d ‘remember’ seeing the Pirates of The Caribbean star’s penis.

Malcolm Connolly, who has worked for Depp and his family for over 15 years, was being grilled by Ms Heard's lawyer during the trial about an incident which is alleged to have taken place at his home in Australia back in 2015.

Who is Malcolm Connolly?

The personal security consultant, who lives in Chelmsford, attended Albert Secondary School in Springburn and started out as an apprentice Bricklayer in 1976, before going on to work in a number of pubs and club in Glasgow as a door supervisor.

Connolly was grilled at the trial by Ms Heard’s lawyer, who said that Depp was trying to urinate “in the foyer” and “had his penis out” during the alleged incident while the 58-year-old actor was filming the fifth Pirates of The Caribbean movie.

Mr Connelly replied: "I think I would remember if I’d seen Mr Depp’s penis", prompting laughter from Mr Depp and those gathered in the court room for the $50 million libel trial, reports The Independent.

Appearing via video link, Connolly also testified that Depp had a swollen face during his honeymoon with ex-wife Amber Heard, while claiming that the 'Aquaman' actress 'wanted to wear the pants' during their marriage.

The trial continues.
