Former Georgia football DB cut by Broncos

Former Georgia Bulldog defensive back Brendan Langley has been cut by the Denver Broncos. Langley converted to wide receiver this offseason, but apparently did not perform well enough as he’s not making the Broncos’ roster.

Langley was a third round pick out of Lamar, which was his transfer destination from UGA. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reminded fans how tough these days are for many players in the NFL:

Hopefully Langley can land on an NFL roster moving forward. For players like Langley a development league would go a long way. It’s tough to change positions at the highest level in any sport. The XFL will offer another route for players left out of the NFL.
