Former Falcons DL Chris Odom, Patriots OT will work out for team Monday

Despite being just two weeks away from the 2019 NFL draft, Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff hasn’t taken his eye off the free agent market.

Earlier this week the team brought back former Falcons edge Adrian Clayborn, who spent last season with the New England Patriots. They will also reportedly work out another former Falcons defensive lineman when they host Chris Odom on Monday, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Odom, 24, played his college ball at Arkansas State and was formerly a member of Atlanta’s practice squad. He played in seven games for the Green Bay Packers in 2017.

Odom isn’t the only player coming in on Monday. According to Aaron Wilson at the Houston Chronicle, former New England Patriots offensive tackle Ulrick John is also visiting.

John was a seventh-round pick by the Colts in 2014. He’s also been a backup for the Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals and the Packers.

In related news, the Falcons also just signed former New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Tyeler Davison.
