Former Fair City star Jenny Dixon has revealed she wants to break into the movie world.
The actress, who spends a lot of time over in LA for auditions and training said it’s her dream to land a romcom role.
Ex-school teacher Jenny, 34, told Irish Daily Mirror: “My first love is acting. And I’ve just finished a new comedy which should be out soon.
“So I definitely still have a huge love for roles and acting but presenting is great fun too and you just kind of welcome whatever comes along.”
Six months after leaving her soap character, Kerri-Ann Bishop behind, the Dubliner admitted she is hoping to make it on the big screen. She said: “I’d really like romantic comedies.

"There is a film that I finished last year called Full Circle and it kind of premiered last month in London.
"And that was great to do because we had much more time to do the scene. So definitely yeah film is what I’d like.”
The actress, who is planning her wedding to Fine Gael TD Tom Neville, spoke of the pressure that comes with leaving the hit soap behind.
Jenny said: “I think it is good to be scared because if you get too comfortable, you are not necessarily discovering new areas. So it’s something to be embraced, feeling scared, the world of possibilities opens up then.”
