Former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku's classy gesture for Christian Eriksen

Former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku dedicated his goal in Belgium's clash with Russia to his Inter Milan team-mate Christian Eriksen after the Denmark midfielder had collapsed in his own nation's clash with Finland.

The Danes were facing Finland at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen when the 29-year-old collapsed on the pitch shortly before the interval.

The midfielder was resuscitated after receiving CPR and rushed to hospital, where it was confirmed his condition was stable, with the match later resuming at the request of the players.

Belgium's clash with Russia went ahead as scheduled on Saturday evening with former Blue Lukaku opening the scoring for the Red Devils.

And after the strike, he rushed to a nearby camera to dedicate his goal to his team-mate, shouting: "Chris, Chris, I love you!"
