Former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku opens up on Goodison spell and his best Blue mate

Former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed how his time at Goodison Park left its mark on him.

Answering a series of questions on his Instagram stories account, he was asked what was his best memory at Everton and he replied: "My first game at Goodison".

It was certainly a game to remember for the forward - who scored the winner on his Everton debut away to West Ham - as he scored twice in a 3-2 win over Newcastle United as well as assisting a goal for Ross Barkley.

Lukaku also revealed that his best friend came about as a result of his Goodison days.

In answer to the question, "What is your relationship with Yannick Bolasie?", Lukaku answered "My best friend I've had in football and in life @yannickbolasie".

Lukaku left Everton to join Manchester United for £90m in the summer of 2017, having scored 87 goals in 155 games for the Blues. He left Old Trafford to join Italian giants Inter Milan for £80m last August.
