Former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has hit out at EA Sports following the reveal of his FIFA 21 rating.
The fiercely-anticipated player ratings ahead of the latest edition of EA Sports' monumental franchise were released yesterday with the unveiling of the top 100.
That led to plenty of talking points, with fans and players themselves unhappy with some of the ratings.
Lukaku enjoyed an incredible season with Inter Milan last term after leaving Manchester United, scoring 23 goals in 36 Serie A appearances and seven goals in six Europa League matches.
However, his rating for FIFA 21 has been revealed to be just 85 - significantly lower than many had expected following his exploits in front of goal last term.
While Lukaku was clearly unhappy with EA Sports' assessment of his abilities, he elected not to hit out specifically at his individual rating and instead took fire at the process as a whole.
"Let's be honest, Fifa just mess with the ratings so we players start complaining about the game and give them more publicity... I ain't with this ****, I know what I do," he tweeted.
