Former Everton star Romelu Lukaku reflects on time at Goodison Park in emotional post

Former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has shared a touching message with Blues fans on Instagram.

The Inter Milan forward, who scored 87 goals during his Goodison Park tenure, has posted a message reflecting with fans to social media. 

In a heartwarming post the Belgian international reflected on the past decade and thanked clubs including Anderlecht, Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion for the part they have played in his football journey.

His message to Blues fans read: "@everton looking back i owe that club so much they gave me a chance and believe at 20 years old and i truly enjoyed my time there.

"The fans are amazing and it was a pleasure to play for such great club."

Lukaku moved to Manchester United in 2017 where he played 96 times and notched 42 goals.

During the summer the 26-year-old made the transfer to Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Since his arrival in Italy the 26-year-old has been in scintillating form having scored 14 times in all competitions.
