Former Everton defender Sylvain Distin has put his support behind an idea of a joint testimonial for two current Blues stars.
Both Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines are coming to the end of their contracts with the club this summer, with no word on whether new deals will be offered or agreed for either yet.
However, with the current campaign soon coming to an end with only three matches left, debate has started over what could happen to the long-serving pair.
Both Baines and Jagielka have spent 12 years at Goodison Park having joined in the summer of 2007.
And one supporter has mooted the idea of potentially holding a joint testimonial for the pair if they were not to sign new contracts with Everton in the coming summer.
How good would it be if Baines and Jags got a joint testimonial and players like @Tim_Cahill Arteta, @therealstevenpi @sylvaind15tin @VictorAnichebe @Johnheitinga @TimHowardGK @Osman21Leon all played. Would be class @Everton

The supporter tweeted out his idea and tagged in some former Everton stars - and Distin quickly replied putting his support behind the potential proposal.
I m in for sure. Sound like a great idea

While both Blues players are out-of-contract in the summer, their futures are still up in the air as it stands.
Everton club captain Jagielka recently spoke to the ECHO about his current situation, but revealed that he himself is still in the dark over what could happen.
My plea to the national media over Everton, Calvert-Lewin's improvements and Silva praise
He said: “We've got a lot of players out on loan and a lot of players we may be interested in and I'm sure there is going to be another sizeable turnaround in the summer so you have to be patient.
“I'd would like to have (heard) some concrete stuff yesterday but, at same extent, it's not playing on my mind too much, it's case of just getting on with things and hopefully knowing sooner rather than later.”
