Former Everton and Man City player Jack Rodwell linked with shock Serie A move

Former Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell is reportedly set to revive his playing career with a shock move to Serie A club Roma.

According to reports the ex-Manchester City player, who made his Goodison Park departure in 2012, is on the cusp of signing for the Italian giants on a free transfer.

The Daily Mail have reported the 28-year-old will undergo a series of fitness tests over the next 48 hours before a final decision is made by the Giallorossi.

Rodwell, who made 109 appearances for the Blues under David Moyes, is currently a free agent after leaving Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers in the summer.
