Fitness and sports company The Athlete Factory are coming to Flintshire in a new partnership with Nicholson Kickboxing and Fitness.
The Athlete Factory was founded by former England and British Lions rugby player Phil Greening and is based in Chester.
The new Flint gym is being rebranded to AF Fitness Flintshire and head of operations will be former world professional kickboxing champion Ricky Nicholson.
Greening said: “I am really excited to welcome AF Fitness Flintshire to our brand family and I can’t wait to push-on with our vision to transform where and how people train whilst applying techniques learnt from elite sport in world class functional training facilities.
“Our team will bring a wealth of experience and add yet another world class specialism to our offering with the NK Martial Arts Academy ran by former world professional kickboxing champion and head of operations at the new site, Ricky Nicholson.
“We are really looking forward to working and growing with the team and have some very exciting plans for the future.”
A large expansion programme is now underway at the Manor Industrial Estate site and the extra facilities will open on October 1.
