AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale would make a 'good' signing for Leeds United this summer.
That is according to former England international Darren Bent, who believes the Whites will be in need of upgrading their goalkeeping department should they be promoted to the Premier League this season.
Doubts have been cast about Kiko Casilla's qualities this season, meaning Leeds may be forced into signing a new shot-stopper this summer, especially if they get the chance to secure promotion back to the top flight of English football for next season, which all depends on the coronavirus outbreak, of course.
And one 'keeper that has been linked with a switch to Elland Road recently is Bournemouth's highly-rated 21-year-old Ramsdale, who has proven himself in the Premier League this season.
On the prospect of Leeds plotting a summer swoop for the Cherries star, Bent told Football Insider:" He has been brilliant for Bournemouth and they could be swapping places – Bournemouth could be on their way down and Leeds on their way up.
"Leeds are still a massive club and what a signing that would be. You need a good goalkeeper, you need someone who’s authoritative and will take charge of the situation.
"You need someone who will pull people around, boss people about and make good saves ultimately. Definitely, one you’d have to say is a good signing."
Ramsdale, who is an England Under-21 international, has played in all but one of the Cherries' Premier League fixtures this season, during which time he has racked up four clean sheets.
