Former Emmerdale actor Jonathan Wrather has set up his own mobile juice and coffee bar, which he has said aims to promote "health, wellness and sustainability."
The 52-year-old - who starred as villainous Pierce Harris on the ITV soap - now runs Remedy on the Park, which sells smoothies and other treats, as reported by the Sun earlier.
The venture comes after the actor moved from London to Alderley Edge in Cheshire several years ago - with the new environment inspiring him to set up the business.
On its website, he wrote: "[Moving] five years ago with a young family, we spent a lot of time in the village park." He said he missed "a quality cup of coffee and snacks."
Around the same time he began juicing, "intrigued by the health benefits" of drinking raw cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juices. Jonathan said that he bought a juicer and began researching about the options.
The actor said it was a "timely and obvious" way to help safeguard the health of his family, adding that: "It was somewhat of a relevation that nutirious can be delicious." He said it can also prevent the onset of "lifestyle diseases."
Jonathan said that he soon realised there was a need for "a more wholesome offering" in the local community, with the business using local suppliers and aiming to be "organic."

He noted that the idea "evolved" once he saw a vintage Citroen HY van, sourcing one himself and repurposing it for the business. He said that the "two concepts fused" with the village park the "obvious location" for the venture.
The menu includes a variety of juices and "nutritious treats" including smoothies, salted almond chocolate bars and a banana pecan loaf. The van is open Thursday to Sunday.
Whilst now a business owner, Jonathan is best known for his role on Emmerdale, initially playing the character Pierce between 2016 and 2017. He returned for a cameo in 2020.

He was involved in several major storylines on the ITV soap, including the character raping wife Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry) and murdering Graham Foster (played by Andrew Scarborough) - with Pierce ending up in prison.
The actor had previously appeared on Coronation Street for a year as ex-con Joe Carter, who departed the cobbles after scamming characters at the Underworld factory.
