A former EastEnders favourite is eyeing up a ‘dream’ role in Emmerdale.
Danniella Westbrook, 47, is known to millions for her role as Sam Mitchell in EastEnders but The Sun reports the actress is desperate to join ITV rival Emmerdale.
The star moved to Aberystwyth, in Wales, last month, and is said to be loving rural life.

“I love EastEnders, I love Sam, but my dream is Emmerdale.
“I’d love to be in Emmerdale, I’m a country girl. You can see where I live – I ride horses.
“One of my school friends Kevin Mathurin, is now in Emmerdale, playing the vicar.”
Danniella will be hoping Kevin, who plays vicar Charles Anderson, will put in a good word with soap bosses.
