Former Eagles WR Golden Tate facing 4 game suspension for PED violation

The New York Giants are just being ravaged by injury at the wide receiver position and now their best wideout, Golden Tate, could miss the first four games of the season. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, Tate is appealing a four-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.

While a member of the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles in 2018, Tate amassed 74 receptions for 795 yards and four touchdowns. The Giants will start the season without Corey Coleman, who suffered season-ending torn ACL, Sterling Shepard, who suffered a fractured thumb and now Tate.
