Ayr United boss Mark Kerr has today swooped to bolster his squad after signing versatile midfield ace Grant Gillespie.
The 28 year-old arrives at Somerset Park following a recent stint with Derry City.
It's understood the one-time Dundee United, Hamilton Accies and Raith Rovers star had been training with Kerr's squad in the hope of earning a deal.
And it would appear Gillespie has shown up well, earning himself a deal until the end of the season.
Gillespie made nearly 200 appearances for Hamilton Accies, before making the switch to Tannadice in 2018.
