A former Stoke-on-Trent pottery factory site is under new ownership after being acquired by a London-based investor.
Dudson's former headquarters in Tunstall has been snapped up by Vengrove for an undisclosed sum.
The 25,000 sq ft facility - which is set within a 9.4 acre site off Scotia Road - was occupied by Dudson, one of the UK's oldest pottery manufacturers, before it collapsed into administration in April 2019 resulting in the loss of 385 jobs.
The building is currently occupied on a short-term lease by online appliances retailer AO.com.
Now the new owner plans to transform the site into high-quality units to address the shortage of industrial workspace in the area. Work is expected to start next summer.

John Burrows of B8 Real Estate - which advised Vengrove on the puchase of the property from Biz-Parks - said: "The property represents a rare opportunity to acquire a substantial industrial complex and add value by converting it into a high-quality industrial and trade estate.
"The development will address the shortage of good quality industrial space within Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire and help attract new jobs to the area."
