Former Dublin footballer Eamon Fennell to take on gruelling Hill 16 charity challenge

Former Dublin footballer Eamon Fennell is set to take on a gruelling charity challenge in aid of The Jack & Jill Children's Foundation this Friday.

Ex-Sky Blues ace Fennell and his wife Fiona Creely will run up and down the Hill 16 terrace for 160 minutes on Friday to raise money for the charity that supports seriously sick children in Ireland.

The 'Up the Hill Challenge 2020' has raised over €2,000 at the time of writing and further donations can be made here.

All-Ireland winner Fennell said: "We're doing this for Jack & Jill to get more money and raise awareness for an organsation that helps 377 families across Ireland with home nursing for their kids.

"We'd love for you to get involved. We'd love for you to suppport. The donations coming in already have been really generous.

"So please visit the Jack & Jill website or go on the JustGiving page and search Eamon and Fiona's challenge.

"I’ll be forever grateful to the amazing people in the @officialgaa for making this fundraiser happen, during such a difficult time. Now we just need to do it! @FionaCreely #upthehill."
