Former Dolphins offensive line coach Chris Foerster finds new NFL gig

The last time offensive line coach Chris Foerster was in the public eye, he was resigning from the Miami Dolphins coaching staff in October of 2017. That decision came on the heels of video of Foerster sniffing a white substance off of his desk while saying he had to attend a meeting — presumably at the Dolphins’ facility.

His resignation as Miami’s offensive line coach was a welcomed change for the Dolphins, who were struggling up front under Foerster’s watch.

But nearly two years after his resignation from the Dolphins, the news has broke that Foerster has found his way back to the NFL, this time with the San Francisco 49ers. The story, which was initially reported by ESPN’s Jenna Laine, states that the 49ers hired Foerster this summer without ever announcing the hire. The former Dolphins coach is also unlisted on the team’s coaching staff page.
