Former Dolphins offensive guard Isaac Asiata signs with Buffalo

There’s quite the strange pipeline forming between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins continue to see their talent head north to the cold, blistering winters of Buffalo, New York — and the latest transaction on the wire continues to support the trend.

Former Dolphins offensive guard Isaac Asiata is packing his bags and heading north to Buffalo, the latest Dolphin in a significant string of additions that have followed the same career path.

Former Dolphins now on the Bills include Asiata, running back Frank Gore, defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, defensive back Lafayette Pitts and linebacker Deon Lacey — but remember, former Dolphins tight ends Charles Clay and Logan Thomas were also present on the Bills roster last year!

Asiata is going to have his hands full trying to make the Bills roster in 2019 — the team has brought in significant reinforcements to try to overhaul their offensive line this year. New faces — in addition to Asiata — on the offensive line in Buffalo include rookie Cody Ford, veteran swing tackle Ty Nsekhe, LaAdrian Waddle, guard Quinton Spain, center Mitch Morse and guard Jon Feliciano.

Asiata, who could never crack the line-up with a sorry group of guards in front of him in Miami, will not likely crack the line-up with this group, either.
