Former Dolphins LB Terence Garvin impressive in AAF debut

The Alliance of American Football debuted on Saturday night with a couple of games primetime. Dolphin fans might be familiar with one of the players who made history.

Linebacker Terence Garvin recorded the first interception in AAF history as his Orlando Apollos defeated the Atlanta Legends 40-6.

Garvin finished the game with two interceptions and 10 tackles in the victory.

The Dolphins signed Garvin last April as they hoped he would improve their special teams unit. But he was released during final cuts after the preseason.

Garvin was later signed by the 49ers but was released just 10 days later. Then Garvin would join the AAF and the Apollos. The AAF will have a 10-week regular season, which many of those games will be available on national television.
