Former Dolphins executive Mike Tannenbaum has officially segued to media

The first glimpse we saw of Mike Tannenbaum in months came just the other day, when Tannenbaum showed up on ESPN programming on set of NFL Live to help discuss the merits of the 2019 quarterback class.

It won’t be the last we see, or hear, of Mike Tannenbaum on ESPN airwaves. After Tannenbaum’s reassignment with the Dolphins let to a quiet – and suspected – departure all together, he’s now been tabbed as part of ESPN’s radio coverage of the 2019 NFL Draft.

While Tannenbaum never found sustained success as an executive and he left the Dolphins in shambles, it will be an interesting opportunity to hear the thought process of Tannenbaum as the action unfolds later this month.

If nothing else, it can provide Dolphins fans with some perspective on how the inner workings of the Miami front office have operated over the last few seasons, plus give us an idea on who some potential targets could have been for Miami it an alternate reality, one with Tannenbaum still at the helm.

After the Draft, look for Tannenbaum to step in on segments where we’ve seen Bill Polian in years past, as Polian is no longer actively broadcasting
