Former Dolphin RB Frank Gore intends to jump ship, sign with Buffalo

Welcome to the wild, frenetic world of NFL free agency. Those who have been trying to keep up with all of the intended transactions: good luck. One transaction that has been announced and will be finalized on Wednesday? Running back Frank Gore’s stay in Miami was a short one.

The 14-year veteran will continue his playing career up north: he intends to sign with the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday. This comes from ESPN’s Adam Schefter as of just moments ago, the latest departure for the Dolphins in free agency.

Gore’s reported contract in Buffalo is slightly larger than the one he played for here in Miami. Gore’s reported terms are for one season at a cost of $2M.

Gore played last season for the Dolphins, his first in Miami, for $1.1M and was the team’s leading rusher in 2018.
