The premises of a former Nottingham takeaway will soon reopen as a glam new hairdressers and beauty salon.
Super Food Express, in Derby Road, closed at the start of 2019 after years serving students and late-night revellers hungry for some pizza and chips on the way home.
But after remaining vacant for well over a year, new life is being breathed into the unit near Canning Circus, with LA Hair moving in.
Builders were spotted gutting the building before strict lockdown rules came into play and now work is back underway.
LA Hair, a Nottingham-based business since 2012, will offer hairdressing, five types of extensions and beauty treatments, including lashes, in-fills, nails and dermal fillers.
Salon owner and hair extension specialist Jade, says on the company's website: "I Formed LA Hair Ltd in January 2012. I worked hard for five years to build up a large client base of satisfied customers which enabled me to expand the business in 2018.
"I expanded into a much larger salon which enabled me to expand the team and offer more services. Owning my own salon was something I had always dreamed of. I have always strived to offer all my clients and colleagues a friendly and welcoming environment."
