And Victoria, 39, was belle of the ball in a white jumpsuit supported by her partner Jonny Lomas on Thursday night (November 18).

She asked: "How can I not do everything I can in my power to be here for him?

"We'll do everything we can to give him the best life."

Victoria discovered a lump while breastfeeding Theo and visited three separate doctors to get a diagnosis after having a 'gut feeling' that something wasn't right.

Victoria said about her double mastectomy and reconstruction: "Yes, it's a more invasive procedure, yes it's a longer recovery time, but ultimately if it can take that large amount of risk away it's peace of mind and it's really good for me because for my mental health, I don't have to worry about it every single day."

The star, who has sickle cell disease which can cause complications when going under anaesthetic, will have the reconstruction at the same time.

Victoria said about her double mastectomy and reconstruction: "Yes, it's a more invasive procedure, yes it's a longer recovery time, but ultimately if it can take that large amount of risk away it's peace of mind and it's really good for me because for my mental health, I don't have to worry about it every single day."

"Theo is so young and the thought of not being here for him isn’t something we even really want to entertain," Victoria told OK! Magazine.

"I was diagnosed on the thirteenth of October with DCIS, which is Ductal carcinoma in situ. It basically means that the cells have turned cancerous within the milk ducts."

She added: "We’re being really optimistic, and positive, and really lucky that we’ve caught it as early as we have. I don’t know if lucky is the right word, but that’s how I feel."

Victoria was joined at the event by friends including Sarah Jayne Dunn, hit the headlines recently after being dropped from Hollyoaks over her decision to sign up to the racy subscription site OnlyFans.

Sarah, 40, turned heads as she hit the town with her hubby Jonathan Smith.

Sarah from Leigh, who has played Mandy Richardson in the Channel Four soap since 1996, looked sensational at the event in a figure-hugging coral dress with a matching pedicure.

The actress, who is one of the long-running soap's biggest stars, has left Hollyoaks after being unable to 'reach a resolution' with bosses over her decision to join OnlyFans which is known for its adult content.

Katie McGlynn (Stephen Farrell)

"I feel disappointed and I feel sad," she told Dan Wootton on GB News earlier this month.

"I will miss terribly the incredible, wonderful talented cast and crew there. I feel like they are family.

"I've known them since I was 14."

Sarah says the images shared on OnlyFans are 'no different' to the ones she had already posted on Instagram.

"I just decided to switch them over to a different platform, put them somewhere that people who do want to see them can access them and and keep my Instagram more family-friendly," she explained.

Tisha Merry and Alan Halsall (Stephen Farrell)

Sarah has been supported by her husband who is 'proud' of her decision.

"The choice wasn't to lose my job. I wanted to do both," she said.

"To make this decision and to take back control."

A Hollyoaks spokeswoman previously said that as a 'youth-facing drama with many young viewers' the soap does not allow any Hollyoaks cast members to be active on certain 18+ websites.'

They said the show had hoped she could remain in the role as mum Mandy but they 'respect' her choice to stay on OnlyFans.

Also stepping out to support Victoria was former Corrie co-star Katie McGlynn, who played Sinead Tinker on the cobbles and now plays troublemaker Becky Quentin in Hollyoaks.

Katie, 28, who competed in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing with Gorka Marquez, wowed in white at the event in a fluffy cropped top and smart trousers.

Also showcasing her toned midriff, and new brunette tresses, at the fundraiser was Kimberley Hart-Simpson who played Nicky Wheatley in the soap.

Kimberley had flashbulbs popping in a crossover cropped top and wide-legged trousers.

Looking a far cry from their mechanic character Tyrone Dobbs on the night was Alan Halsall who looked stylish in an all-black outfit worn with a denim jacket.

He was beaming as he posed alongside his girlfriend Tisha Merry who played Steph Britton on Coronation Street.
