A former Coronation Street star has joined Emmerdale.

Prior to this he'd been chatting up Liv Flaherty, who has recently relapsed after turning to alcohol due to her guilt over Paul Ashdale's death.
After asking Max to buy some alcohol from the shop she invited him back to her house, only to be busted by brother Aaron Dingle who walked in to find the pair.

Some Emmerdale viewers recognised Wil Barnett had previously appeared in Corrie. The actor portrayed Tyler Jefferies in the Manc soap between 2018 and 2019.
Tyler bullied Simon Barlow, and also got Amy Barlow pregnant before refusing to have anything to do with her.
His mum Vicky was Robert Preston's other woman, who left the street after falling pregnant with his child - with Robert killed off in December 2019.
