Former Coronation Street actress says romance with Alan Halsall was 'predicted by a psychic'

Former Coronation Street star Tisha Merry has said that her relationship with former co-star Alan Halsall was "predicted by a psychic."

The couple went public with their romance earlier this month when Alan, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, posted a loved-up snap of the pair at Sam Aston's wedding.

Tisha, who played Steph Britton in the soap until 2017, said that she would find her 'soulmate' and gushed about how they "connect on the deepest level".

The 25-year-old actress told The Sun: "It was only a few months ago he (the psychic) said, 'You're going to find your soulmate and it's going to be before you're 26' and I was like, 'Great mate, that’s about four months' time'.

"I was like, 'Amazing but I don't know how I am going to do this', and then it happened and I was like, 'What? Crazy'."

Tisha also said that the psychic told her she would "laugh a lot" with her soulmate before adding, "That's literally the description, I mean, I laugh every day, he's a hoot."

Speculation about the Corrie stars relationship were rife after the pair were first pictured together back in February when Alan, 36, shared a picture of them watching the Salford Red Devils at AJ Bell Stadium.

Alan split from his wife and former co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson 2017 after nine years of marriage with whom he shares four-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae.
