A former police officer has been arrested in connection with the death of his wife.
Tragic Alice Farquharson was found dead at the family home in Aberdeen 's upmarket west end area yesterday.
Her husband, Keith, who was suspended from Police Scotland in 2009 over sexual harassment claims, is currently under arrest.
This morning a single police car sat outside the Angusfield Avenue property while investigations into the woman’s death continued.

Murder inquiry cops moved to reassure residents that the incident was "contained" and there was no threat to the wider community.
Alice, 56, stood by her husband, who is believed to now work as a private hire cab driver, following allegations he was a sex pest at work.
Farquharson, who was an Inspector, spent a year on gardening leave while still picking up his £45,000 salary before he was suspended by police chiefs.
It's understood the couple have three adult children.
Detective Inspector Gary Winter, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, said: “Enquiries are at a very early stage and will continue throughout the coming days.

"I would like to take this opportunity to stress that there is no threat to the wider community and it appears to have been a contained incident.
"I would like to thank local residents for their patience.
"Anyone with information about this incident who has not yet spoken to the Police is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number 0521 of August 29.
