A bizarre scene unfolded at Travis Kelce’s Kansas mansion when a former police officer turned process server was arrested after allegedly trying to serve Taylor Swift with legal documents.
The man, identified as 48-year-old Justin Lee Fisher, was reportedly attempting to deliver deposition papers on behalf of Justin Baldoni’s legal team. Baldoni, the actor and director, is locked in a high-profile legal battle with Blake Lively. According to court documents, Fisher was reportedly arrested around 2 a.m. on September 15 and charged with “jumping the fence onto a private residence in a private neighborhood.”
At the time, Swift and Kelce were both at home in Leawood, Kansas. The couple, who recently announced their engagement, were inside the mansion when the alleged incident happened. TMZ first reported that Fisher tried to scale the fence in order to reach Swift.

The arrest came just two days after Judge Lewis Liman rejected Baldoni’s legal team’s request for more time to depose Swift, as reported by CNN. “The only justification they have provided for the extension is their assertion that Swift’s preexisting professional obligations now prevent her from appearing for a deposition prior to October 20, 2025,” Liman explained. He also criticized the director’s team for not showing “appropriate diligence” in pursuing the subpoena.
It remains unclear if Fisher was acting on instructions given before or after the judge’s ruling. Either way, his arrest highlights how far Baldoni’s legal fight has stretched, pulling Swift into the fray despite her not being a direct party in the case.
Kelce’s mansion, where the arrest took place, is a sprawling 3.5-acre estate tucked inside a gated community. The six-bedroom, six-bath home boasts a chef’s kitchen, media lounge, wine cellar, and a Beverly Hills-style backyard pool with a hot tub, tennis court, and even a miniature golf course. Kelce bought the property for more privacy after his relationship with Swift thrust him further into the spotlight.
Meanwhile, the legal war between Baldoni and Lively has only grown uglier since it began in late 2024. Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, while he countered with a $400 million lawsuit claiming he was the victim of a smear campaign by Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. That case was dismissed in June, but both sides continue to trade accusations, and Swift’s name has surfaced in connection with disputed meetings and script changes tied to Baldoni’s project It Ends With Us.
With Fisher’s arrest, the legal drama has now spilled beyond courtrooms and into the personal lives of some of Hollywood and sports’ biggest stars. The next chapter in this feud is already shaping up to be even more unpredictable.
