A man was reportedly arrested at Travis Kelce’s Kansas City home after he allegedly jumped the fence in an attempt to serve legal papers to Taylor Swift. Justin Lee Fisher, a 48-year-old former police officer, was charged with “jumping the fence onto a private residence,” according to a report from People magazine. Both Swift and Kelce were inside the home at the time the ex-cop tried to break in.
Fisher was allegedly trying to deliver a deposition request on behalf of Justin Baldoni’s legal team, in his ongoing legal dispute with his It Ends With Us co-star, Blake Lively. The incident was spotted around 2 AM by a Nashville-based security team member, who was the head of executive protection for Swift. According to a report from Star, the information about the incident is “restricted as to use and dissemination” and details were not publicly released in the police report.
This whole situation is a result of Swift being dragged into a legal battle between Justin Baldoni and her close friend, Blake Lively. Baldoni claimed Lively leveraged her friendship with Swift to threaten him, which is just wild to think about. Apparently, Baldoni’s legal team had filed a letter with the court on September 11, claiming that Swift had agreed to a deposition. However, Swift’s legal team quickly fired back, stating that the pop star “did not agree” to anything.
Taylor Swift is victim to a man trying to break in for legal reasons
In a letter obtained by Fox News Digital, Swift’s legal team said, “My client did not agree to a deposition, but if she is forced into a deposition, we advised (after first hearing about the deposition just three days ago) that her schedule would accommodate the time required during the week of October 20 if the parties were able to work out their disputes.” They also made it clear they “take no role in those disputes,” which makes perfect sense.
Judge Lewis Liman denied Baldoni’s request to extend the discovery deadline, so it’s unlikely Swift will have to sit for a deposition in the case at all. This whole mess stems from lawsuits filed by both Baldoni and Lively. Lively filed a complaint in December, alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, and other claims against Baldoni and a film producer. Baldoni, on the other hand, sued Lively in January, claiming she had “falsely” accused him to repair her reputation after the press tour for their movie went sour.

Baldoni’s lawsuit against Lively was dismissed by Judge Liman back in June, so it seems like this whole thing is slowly coming to an end. It’s wild to see how far people will go to try to serve legal papers, especially to someone as famous as Taylor Swift. It’s a reminder that even for the biggest stars, there are still people out there who will go to extreme lengths to get what they want.
You have to wonder what was going through this guy’s mind when he decided to jump the fence at 2 AM to try to hand over some papers. It just goes to show that some people will do anything for their job, even if it means getting arrested.
