A teenage footballer from Co Down is hoping hard work pays off as he looks to forge a full-time career across the water.
Former Cliftonville starlet Eoin Teggart signed a two-year scholarship with Portsmouth last summer.
The 17-year-old striker settled into Pompey's Under 18s but has recently been elevated to the League One club's U23 squad.
He came on for the last 20 minutes on Tuesday as the Academy side beat Premier League outfit Fulham.
"I enjoyed it. It was good experience for me against a Premier League side," Teggart told Belfast Live Sport.
"They have a lot of good players, so to get the win was brilliant.
"We play Bournemouth next week and I want to get more game time. I want to stay in the U23s and move up from there."
Teggart spent two years at Cliftonville where he played for the club's Under 15s and 16s before jumping straight up to the U18s.
He also had a brief spell with Glentoran after enjoying an impressive youth career with Ridgeway Rovers and hometown club Ballynahinch.
Now he is determined to make a name for himself at Portsmouth.

"I just have to keep working hard and hopefully I get more opportunities," Teggart added.
"I am enjoying my football at Portsmouth, and I believe I am starting to find my feet.
"I moved last summer and it has been great for me. I have settled into life over here, that wasn't a problem.
"I started off in the Under 18s and now I have had a couple of games for the U23s, so things seem to be going well.
"It is a totally different level of football over here. It is more physical and there is more passing on the ground, possession football.
"So I have had to adjust my game, which took time. But the training every day and the matches have really brought me on as a player."
