A former Bristol headmaster has launched an education consultancy business in the city.
John Milne, who was previously head of Clifton College Prep, has set up educational services company Constellation Group.
The business, which has its head office on Berkeley Square, has appointed a team of staff including former headmaster Jimmy Beale as operations director.
Beale’s school search and advice consultancy, The English Education, will also become part of the Constellation Group brand.
Milne said: “The provision of high-quality education services in Bristol is fragmented and inconsistent.
“Bristol is a world-class destination for education, and demands a consistent, high-quality provision of connecting services.
“We have created Constellation Group to be a first port-of-call for students and families – a one-stop shop even – for their education related needs, including advice about academic direction, pastoral support, relocation, concierge and other wrap-around services.”
Constellation Group offers consultancy, staff training and recruitment services, as well as advice and management strategies.
Milne added: “We already have a great team in place with a huge range of skills and experience in the education sector.
“This gives us scope to take on a wide variety of projects. We are an agile business and can move quickly to respond to opportunity and need where we see it.
"If we cannot deliver ourselves, we are uniquely positioned to sign post clients to other high-quality providers.”
