Former child star claims Oscars left him out of Rob Reiner tribute

Corey Feldman claims the Academy excluded him from its planned 2026 Oscars tribute for director Rob Reiner.
The tribute is expected to feature actors who starred in Reiner's films, including Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan from "When Harry Met Sally."
Feldman, who starred in Reiner’s 1986 film "Stand By Me," believes co-stars Jerry O’Connell and Will Wheaton were invited to participate.
He suggested his exclusion might be due to his outspokenness about childhood abuse but emphasized the tribute is about honoring Reiner.
Feldman stated he would honor Reiner "his own way" and asked supporters to cease petitions for his inclusion, noting Reiner and his wife were found dead in December 2025, with their son charged with their murders.
