Former Chelsea striker makes huge Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang diving claim in FA Cup final

Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton has accused Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of diving to win Arsenal a penalty in the FA Cup final.

The Gunners fell behind early on to Christian Pulisic's opener with just five minutes on the clock but the Gunners levelled the scores later in the first half.

Aubameyang beat Cesar Azpilicueta with his pace and the Blues defender was judged to have pulled the Gunners' captain to the ground.

Referee Anthony Taylor quickly pointed to the spot, with a VAR check upholding the decision, but Sutton was not convinced it was the right decision.

"There is a little pull. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang knows what he is doing. There is the slightest contact. He has bought that penalty," he said on BBC Radio's 5Live commentary.

"I have to say Arsenal are very, very fortunate about the penalty award. I thought Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang dived.

"Did Aubameyang have to go down? There was not enough contact for him to fall like that."
