Chelsea have finally got a deal over the line for Kai Havertz.
After months of speculation, the Germany international became the Blues' record signing when his initial £72m transfer from Bayer Leverkusen was confirmed on Friday evening.
This means the attacking midfielder is Frank Lampard's sixth signing of the summer so far, joining Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva as the new faces at Stamford Bridge.
Now the deal is done, Havertz can turn his attentions to making his Chelsea debut against Brighton and Hove Albion a week on Monday and he's already trained at the club's base in Cobham.
The signing of the 21-year-old is one that has will certainly excited the fanbase - and apparently those with strong connections to the club.
Following confirmation of the move, former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel - now at Stoke City - has taken to social media to deliver his verdict on the transfer.
On Instagram, the account @433 posted a picture of Havertz holding his Chelsea kit with the caption: '@kaihavertz29 is a blue.
And the aforementioned Mikel has seemingly given his approval to the deal, by liking the picture.
As explained by club director Marina Granovskaia, the Blues simply couldn't miss the boat on one of European football's most promising youngsters.
"Kai is one of the best players of his age in world football, so we are very happy that his future lies at Chelsea," she told Chelsea's club website. "He has proven pedigree in one of the best leagues in Europe, he plays for the German national side and he is an exciting, dynamic talent.
"We are delighted to be able to add his versatility and quality to the squad before the season begins."
Meanwhile, Havertz has admitted that his love for Lampard played a key part in convincing him to seal a move to Stamford Bridge.
"Of course he had a big impact on my decision because I loved him as a player and watched him very often, and I think I can learn from him as a manager as well," Havertz said in an interview with Chelsea's club website. "I think he is a very humble person and a very great guy.
"I can't wait to play with him and learn from him."
On signing for the Blues, the midfielder added: "I am very happy and proud to be here. For me it is a dream come true to play in a big club like Chelsea and I can’t wait to meet all the players and the trainers.
"Yeah, I am very happy to be here."
