Former Chargers’ Younghoe Koo writes his name in AAF history book

Former Chargers kicker Younghoe Koo was one of the more popular players entering the 2017 season because of his unique name and his ability to do insane kicking trick shots. But Koo didn’t have much success with Los Angeles, as he was the reason that they lost a couple games in the beginning of the season because of his inconsistency.

Koo went unsigned all throughout 2017 and this past season. But he found a new home, showing his face on the football field as a member of the Atlanta Legends in the new football league, the Alliance of American Football.

Koo made history by making the first points for the league with a 38-yard field goal. It doesn’t seem like much, but one of the most polarizing names will be added to the many records that will soon be written in the AAF.
