Scott Brown believes former Celtic teammate Kieran Tierney is one of the best left-backs in the world and he's only going to get better.
The pair spent five trophy-laden seasons together in Glasgow before the Muirhouse ace moved to Arsenal in a deal worth £25million.
After initially struggling with injury, Tierney has grown from strength to strength under Mikel Arteta and the 23 year-old is one of Arsenal’s most important players.
Tierney will also play an integral role for Scotland at the EUROs this summer and boss Steve Clarke deploys him in a different position at left centre-back.
Brown, who captained Celtic for the entirety of Tierney’s spell in the first-team, believes his close friend is one of the world’s best in his natural position and he expects him to show his class this summer.
“Everybody knows how good Kieran is,” Brown told Go Radio. “He’s one of the best left-backs in the world and he’s just getting better and better.

“It’s his fighting spirit and also his strength and pace that is pushing him to new things as well.
“His quality has always been there, his dedication has always been there but he’s just going to keep getting better the more he continues to play.
“He’s shown the world how good he is and I’m sure he’ll do that on the big stage.”
