Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson says it puts a smile on his face to see midfielder David Turnbull back in training - and hinted that he’s nearing a top-team return.
Turnbull was on the verge of a £3m move to Celtic until an injury concern flared up and he has been sidelined since.
With a derby visit to Hamilton looming. Robinson said: “ David Turnbull is not far away, and that puts a big smile on my face. It’s certainly not all doom and gloom.
“He’s back in full training, he played 11 v 11 [On Saturday v St Mirren when the game was called off the two sides played in a bounce game] and we’re just waiting for the OK, and I can’t wait for that."
