Former Celtic star Victor Wanyama goes viral and shows he's still got some Scottish football in him

"If in doubt, get it to fu..."

Anyone who's played football at any level in Scotland won't need the rest of that spelled out for them.

We're not sure if the same vernacular is used at Champions League semi-finalists Tottenham but the same principles seem to apply, at least.

With his side clinging to an away goals victory over Manchester City, former Celtic star Victor Wanyama does brilliantly to dispossess Leroy Sane in the middle of the park during stoppage time.

He lifts his head, the clock is ticking, there's nobody ahead of him, he can't afford to do anything daft.

It was at this point the Kenyan showed the watching world that he's still got a bit of Scottish football in him by swinging his left foot at the ball and skelping it straight into touch.

Wanyama is a talented player who tore up the Premiership, but this had all the hallmarks of a Sunday league hatchet man finding himself a bit too far up the pitch.

You know, the type who then barks at his team-mates to "face up again" after launching the ball into the car park.

It mattered little in the end to Spurs and Wanyama as VAR denied City a winner, setting the Londoners up for a mouthwatering last four tie against Ajax.
