Former Celtic star Ian Wright in heartwarming video as he has emotional reunion with memorabilia

He might not have collected too many awards during his time at Celtic but Ian Wright has plenty from his time at Arsenal.

The Gunners legend made just 10 appearances in the Hoops and got three goals after being signed by John Barnes as cover for the injured Henrik Larsson.

It wasn't an easy time for him as he played in the famous Scottish Cup defeat to Inverness Caledonian Thistle and returned to England soon after.

Wright had a much more successful time when he was at Arsenal and up until Thierry Henry beat it, he was the club's record goalscorer.

After being picked up by Crystal Palace from non-league he kicked on to become one of the best goalscorers English football has ever seen.

That means he had plenty of awards and memorabilia from his time at the Gunners, which included a golden boot.

But he lost it all after his ex-wife took it to America and he thought he'd never see it again.

However, Classic Football Shirts spotted it all up for auction and decided to return it to Wright as a birthday present.

Wright had told them about the loss while filming a 'what you wore' episode and that show has reached more than 1million views on YouTube.

And there was a heartwarming reunion for Wright as his eyes lit up when he walked in and saw all of his stuff on the table.

He spoke about it all with pride and how happy he was to see names like the late David Rocastle on some of the signed footballs.

The incredible clip can be seen in full in our player above.
