Former Celtic star Anthony Stokes has denied breaching a court order banning him from contacting his ex-girlfriend.
The 31-year-old striker faces a claim he breached a ruling keeping him away from Eilidh Scott for four years by sending her an email message in March this year.
Charges state he allegedly broke bail conditions and the terms of a non-harassment order which was handed down last year.
The Irish footballer, who also played for Arsenal and Hibs, was not present when his case called at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

He pled not guilty by letter and the case was continued to next month by Sheriff Linda Nicolson.
Stokes, of Glasgow, is due to stand trial in September.
He was made subject to the non-harassment orders in September last year at the same court by Sheriff Alasdair MacFadyen.
As part of his bail conditions he is banned from contacting Miss Scott or her parents in any way and is also banned from entering two streets in Shotts, Lanarkshire, where they live.
Stokes won seven trophies in six seasons at Parkhead and netted twice in Hibs' 3-2 Scottish Cup win over Rangers in 2016.
He joined Iranian team Tractor Sazi FC in 2018 but last year signed a deal with Turkish second division side Adana Demirspor.
Stokes signed a six-month deal with Iranian side Persepolis FC but it is believed he is currently without a club.
