Darvel Juniors have added another senior player to their ranks as Jason Marr has signed from Stirling Albion.
The centre-back was in high demand, but Darvel beat off stiff competition to get their man.
The former Celtic youngster played for Falkirk, Ross County, Clyde, Alloa and Albion Rovers before joining his most recent team Stirling.
The 30-year-old brings plenty of experience to Recreation Park with almost 200 league appearances in the Scottish leagues.
He was most successful at Alloa where he made 112 appearances for the Wasps.
The signing is a statement of intent from the Vale who have also added former Rangers defender Ross Perry, former Ayr United left-back Daryll Meggatt among many more new faces with plenty of experience.
New gaffer Michael Kennedy has set his sights high after joining from Colville Park.
