Troon have bolstered their defensive options with the signing of Colin Granger from Glasgow University.
The 24-year-old, from Ayr, began his career at the St Mirren and then Celtic youth academies, before spending a few seasons with Ayr United.
He made the switch to Glasgow University in 2017 and remained there as he completed his studies.
Granger goes straight into the squad for Saturday's South Challenge Cup first round clash against South of Scotland League side Mid Annandale.
A statement on Troon's website said: "Tall, comfortable on the ball and with real strength in the air, he will undoubtedly add to what is already a strong squad."
